June 7, 2015 – Bear Update – No sightings reported this season.

Please continue to exercise caution and keep your waste/garbage in the proper containers prior to pick up days to discourage any wild animal visits. Report any new sightings to the BFN and/or CICA offices.

Please secure household waste until just prior to pick-up times, if possible. Bears are attracted to food, and food waste; most bears will not attack unless provoked. Please keep your dogs leashed to avoid any unpleasant incidents while walking around the Island.
