BFN Transportation Update re: July 19, 20, 2017
Please be advised that the generator that was removed from the M.V. Sandy Graham for repair a few weeks ago is ready to return and will potentially be reinstalled on Wednesday July 19, 2017. Our electrician is just awaiting delivery of a new voltage regulator to complete the package early next week, which is why I have stated “potentially”.
In the event we do shut down we would also like to take the opportunity to complete the painting of the vessel during this shut down if weather conditions permit. Please take note that if a second day is required to complete the painting that the vessel may also be tied up the following day on Thursday July 20, 2017. Please take the opportunity to have your vehicle moved to either the island or mainland side prior to the day of the tie up.
As per last tie up, commercial deliveries will be allowed on Friday and the weekend next week to make up for the shut down if any are required. The passenger ferry M.V. Indian Maiden will provide ferry service while the M.V. Sandy Graham is down for repairs.
