Please be a responsible pet owner

“Stoop & Scoop” is the rule.

All dogs should be kept on leashes, especially near the ferry dock areas, in the village, or on the beaches.

Remember there are small children and smaller dogs that may be frightened by a large, free-running dog.

Pick up after your pet; diseases and parasites may be passed to humans and other animals from pet waste.

Traveling with Pets on the Ferry

Arnie Jamieson Jr., BFN Ferries Coordinator, has confirmed that there is NO CHARGE for pets kept inside vehicles.

If you let your pet loose on the ferry after not paying for keeping it in the vehicle or carrier, the ferry crew WILL CHARGE the $5.00 fee/fare for the animal.
